Having just heard Harry Chapin's "Taxi," a winsome romantic ballad that's always had a place in my heart, I am struck by the address of his fare's destination "16 Parkside Lane" in San Francisco. So I googled it and guess what...no such address.
If any of you are tired of knitting yarn from belly-button lint, can you come up with any other addresses in songs or movies in SF that may be real of fictitious? Extra points if they are (or aren't really) located in the Western Neighborhoods... Winner gets a pair of hand-knitted socks in neutral gray.
