Having done all the usual and some unusual things including collecting oil from spent cans at the local Flying A station where they built Westlake Joe's, I became industrious at the age of 11 and ventured over to the Olympic Club on Saturdays to supplement my weekly News-Call Bulletin route. I've described this experience in a prior post so just watch "Caddy Shack" and "Nightmare Alley" and you'll get the picture.

Seems I've worked every Saturday or every-other Saturday forever now and like Bob Dylan sings "twenty years of schooling and they put you on the day shift...because Johnny's in the basement mixing up the medicine."

Cheers,
jb
