My parents always went to Hoos. As I got older I would walk to the Big Dipper. Hoos was the better quality ice cream. A single scoop at the Big Dipper was 5 cents, at Hoos it was 10 cents but was a slightly bigger scoop. The Big Dipper also had chocolate peaches during the summer, 10 cents,had quite a few of those.
