burned down

I lived in the attached building from 1976 to 1991. I remembered it burned down a few years before it finally closed. It was rebuilt shortly after but closed a scant few years later. I recall Eddies Market, fondly, right at the corner of 46th and Irving. We now must rely on the Balboa Theater and the 4-Star to relive the ambiance of the long gone, but never forgotten Surf theater.
