I remember seeing The Ten Commandments at the Surf Theater in 1958. We lived on 47th Avenue with another lady and her two children because my mon was divorced and the other lady did not work and she could babysit us while my mom worked at a coffee shop on 19th and Irving. Times were difficutl, but we survived....
