I too remember attending movies from my last year at Lincoln High through university graduation. I saw Night of the Living Dead there first. At least one young man in that audiience was on Acid, not the best idea, and I was jumpy driving home after that.
It was mind and culturely expanding to view the foriegn films with the new sixties prospective at the time. My favorites were the Swedish, French and Italian movies with their more open and uncensored scenes. And, parking on the street was free.
