If memory serves, the Pepper Tree bar was made by Cardinet. They also made Baffle Bar and Uno. All chocolate coated with filling the consistency of a soft fudgy frosting. The Pepper Tree filling had a minty flavor.

Cardinet, a bay area company, is no more. Maybe gobbled up by a larger outfit.

But you intrigue me. I'll have to look at the local candy counters. Maybe Pepper Tree still exists!!

Again, all this with the qualification "if memory serves".
