My mother Mary Roldan used to work at the Bean Pot. I'm not sure what year she started. My older sister Mary Roldan worked at Its it. And I worked the pizza shack located right next to the bumper cars. Also as a child and teenager I used to hang on there. My sisters and I would go to Skateland on Friday nights and skate. We loved it when they used to turn the lights down and the boys would ask the girls to skate. My sister Lulu ( Louise Roldan Howells ) was the only one who could skate backwards. Great times at Playland. Sorry, it was torn down.
