The Red Bug was replaced by the Auto Speedway.. This was located on what was nicknamed The New Midway.. WW11 did not have anything to do with the demise of the Speedway... It simply took up too much space and did not turn the volume of people to warrant its existance.. I use to be one of those guys the used to jump on the side of the moving auto to bring it back up to the head of the line for new customers..
