I think water was also sold to the Press Club for their pool, but I'm not sure.
The Trader Joe's on Masonic, north of Geary appears to me to be sitting in and old reservoir which I would bet held water for the Lurline/Olympic Club pools. Look at the northern border of the property and observe that it's slanted like the side of a reservoir with square holes to accommodate roof supports.
