The old pier? Yes. If memory serves, it had a pipeline that was used to intake water for a swimming pool downtown. Don't know the name or location of the pool. When Playland was being torn down, you could see a circular hole, in the area where the restaurants and rides had been, almost the diameter of the merry-go-round, and maybe 15 to 20 feet deep. A pumping plant had been installed there to bring the water in from the ocean. Said plant was directly across the street from the pipeline pier.

Again, if memory serves. I'm open to being corrected, if, like "Rick", I was misinformed.
