Hey jb....I think "Get off my lawn" is just a kindler, gentler version of "Make my day."

In reading Mr. LaB's lovely sentiments, this Ukranian/Russian/Polish lady (adopted and raised in an all-Irish family)and of Ukranian Orthodox and Catholic origins, finds herself saying, "Oy! That Woody! Such a nice boy he is!!" replete with a rich Yiddish accent. He's kinda like the youthful Social Director of a Cyberspace Rec Center for the Senior Citizens of the Outsidelands...

Having previously offered the traditional Christmas greetings, here is the First Hanukkah Blessing:

Baruch ata Adonai elohanu melech ha olam, asher kiddishanu b'mitzvotav v'tzivanu l'hadlik ner shel Hanukkah. (Blessed are you our God, ruler of the world, who makes us holy through your mitzvoth, and commands us to kindle the Hanukkah lights.)
