Herb Caen? I'ts an honor to be connected to him! I corresponded with Mr. Caen back in the 70's, so maybe I was channeling The Man when I composed my poem...


P.S. I'm also relieved that Mr. LaB didn't kick me off The Message Board for rhyming "jaunty" with "LaBounty!" Hey! I was desperate!
