There's a lot of talk (still!) about building community on the Web, and now the Internet seems to be all about "social media," but the connections and affection that's been engendered on these message boards is one of the great surprise successes of this organization. (David, you did a good job making this part of the site a playground of ideas and memories.)

Thanks Jo Anne for your great good humor and creativity! Happy Hanukkah (started last night, yes?) and Merry Christmas to everyone. I feel like you're all part of my family.
