My Christmas Present to the Outsidelands

Twas the night before Christmas and through WNP
Not a creature was stirring, not even jb.
Postings were hung on the Message Board with care,
In the hopes that Frank Dunnigan, his stories would share.

David Gallagher was nestled all snug in his bed,
As a Sugar Plum Minute did dance in his head.
Mary Ann in her kerchief, and Merry An in her coat,
Joined Candis in caroling up and down Sloat.

When out in the Avenues, there arose such a clatter,
Sitton sprang from bed to see what was the matter.
Paul R wreathed the L Car, a very fine trolley,
As Paul J joined J Paul for a Johnson's tamale.

On the median of 19th, for everyone to see
Stood Sandy and Sandi and curious Alexy.
When what to their wondering eyes should appear,
But a yellow and green trolley with eight Zoo deer.

A flawless complexion, 'neath his Fedora so jaunty,
We knew that the driver was Woody LaBounty!
Nick and Tanya waved pine boughs, and so did Will,
While the Martini boys strung lights on Quintara Hill.

Patrick's Ocean Beach bonfires, a tribute to St. Nick.
Karen and Karyn-Ann hung mistletoe on the Old 66.
Blum's coffee crunch cake was offered by ShawnP,
Ken and Kev passed out candies - compliments of See's.

Roy Thomas and SFMac, with the heartiest of chortles,
Hung stockings on the tunnel down in West Portal.
Tammy A. joined Leif, Judy H and David R,
When Dineen started shouting, "In the east is a Star!"

Go Phil D, Tom M, Frank Grant and all,
To the top of Mt. Davidson, then Stonestown's fine mall!
And all the Outsidelanders, beholding these sights,
Said, "Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!"
