FINALLY--An article about where I grew up! (Sylvan Drive between Ocean and Eucalyptus)
I happen to have the Deed of Sale to 167 where my late parents bought the house in 1949. Thanks for all the trivia and history we all long to hold on to and keep dear.
Regarding your heading "Where G E T was"... How many of us remember what it stood for?...times up!--Government Employees Together!....And..who can forget Lucky Market with those huge yellow and green spires that stood out in the fog? AH...fog...still love it.
