I was in my late twenties when I visited the Octagon house back in the eighties with Peggy Pierce Morrissey, a co-worker at Blake, Moffitt and Towne. She was Jame's girlfriend (eventually wife). I remember the fog rolling in on that dark night and being upstairs with the sounds of Willie Nelson's recording "Georgia On My Mind" wafting up from downstairs. I nicknamed James (Jimmy) "Popeye" because he had been out to sea and looked like Popeye to me.
