My Grandmother was in the Story League, which was based out of the Wawona Clubhouse. They'd go visit groups of kids, and read stories to them. Problem was, my grannie had been blind since the 20's. She had 2 big ol' Wollensak reel-to-reel tape decks, where she would listen, and practice reciting the stories they told the kids.

We did probably record one (we had a phone cord that would reach her bedroom), but all those tapes were lost in '71.

Find me an ATT "Princess Phone" ad from the early 60s. Probably her. Thanks
