What a classic place to work as a high school or college aged kid. I worked there in the late ‘70’s. I was the lone Lincoln guy.There were a few SI guys but most of the workers were Riordan wreckers. Herb was a bit crude but a likable character who was retired SFFD. His wife was a classy Italian lady. The food was no frills but the roast beef, baked ham, meatballs, and potato salad were all house cooked which set them apart from the rest. Classic working class SF joint which for the most part doesn’t exist anymore. Go Mustangs…
