Join historian and retired park ranger John Martini for a history walk of little-visited East and West Fort Miley, and the abandoned El Camino Del Mar highway. Highlights include 1890s fortifications at Fort Miley, a quick walk-through of the Veterans Administration hospital campus, and the Octagon House (outside only, sorry).

Our journey begins at 10:00am and takes about 2 hours. Grade: moderate; steep sections of paved roadway. Please note that while we at WNP love animals, we can no longer allow dogs on our walking tours, in order to accommodate the needs of all our guests. Thank you for understanding.
