Join us for this in-person walking tour led by former Western Neighborhoods Project board member and historic preservation consultant Richard Brandi through Forest Hill Extension this Labor Day weekend on September 4, 2021 at 10:00 am.

The area called Forest Hill Extension on the San Francisco Realtors map includes four other residential developments: Claremont Court, Laguna Honda Park, Rockridge Terrace, and Edgehill. Some of these developments are not well-known or have lost their identities. Brandi, who wrote the book “Garden Neighborhoods of San Francisco,” will explain how they came into being and what makes them unique.

Our two-hour tour begins at 10:00am and is generally level, except for Edgehill Way. The super-secret meeting location will be emailed when tickets are purchased: $10 for members and $20 for non-members.Please register through Eventbrite, which you can access by clicking the link in the More Info field below this description or by copying and pasting the following URL into your browser: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/wnp-forest-hill-extension-history-walk-tickets-157878608167

The walk is limited to 30 people and we will follow whatever San Francisco Department of Health regulations are in place at the time.
