Come to the WNP Spring Symposium for some in-depth San Francisco history talk and conviviality. A trio of our favorite local researchers—Richard Brandi, John Freeman, and Inge Horton—will make up a lively panel for discussion on San Francisco builder Fernando Nelson. Member socializing with beverages and snacks will follow.

Nelson and his children built thousands of houses from Noe Valley to the Richmond District to Parkway Terrace to West Portal. The panel will delve into his personality, business methods, architectural style, and legacy to the city.

Location: A Nelson-built Parkway Terrace house on 27th Avenue between Lincoln Way and Irving Street. Exact address of our charming host's residence will be sent with confirmation after ticket purchase. There is one set of stairs to get into the house.

We have been given permission to park in the San Francisco Police Credit Union lot on the corner of Irving and 27th Avenue.

Limited to 20 WNP members. $20 a ticket, and worth it!
