More Details

Join us for a 20th Anniversary Gala celebration benefiting Western Neighborhoods Project!

On Sunday, May 19, 2019, Western Neighborhoods Project will celebrate its twentieth anniversary with a gala benefit of history and friendship at The Clubhouse at the Presidio Golf Course from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Special Guest of Honor will be Peter Hartlaub, reporter, writer, critic, and lover of local history from the San Francisco Chronicle.

With a theme of “Back to the Neighborhood,” the evening will focus on the inspiration for Western Neighborhood Project’s creation in 1999—preserving and sharing the history of San Francisco’s west side.

Meet neighbors, old classmates, local history celebrities, and new friends. Enjoy fine food and drink, find a treat at the silent auction, hear old-school stories, see rare historical pictures, and watch home movies from the Outside Lands. Whether you are a native or a recent arrival, you will get a warm welcome “back to the neighborhood” at our twentieth anniversary gala.

No-Host Bar - 6:00 p.m. Complimentary wine from DuNah Winery
Buffet Dinner - 7:00 p.m.
Cocktail attire, whatever that means to you, is encouraged.
Stories and old images all night long
$200 per ticket ($100 tax-deductible).
