Re: Dave Sullivans Sporting Goods

My grand father, Dave Sullivan, started the sporting goods store in the early 30s, but it was mostly bait and tackle. My mother was Dave Sullivan's daughter, Helen. Mom died at 91 about 4 years ago. So, I recall going to the store as a child, and the smell of bait would assalt your sense of smell as soon as you walked in the front door. There was a walk in refrigerator at the rear of the store that stored bait and fish. Gramma and grampa lived just around the corner and up a block south of Kearney
