When I lived in Westlake by the Olympic Club and the riding stables there were numerous possums. They used the sewers and catch basins for short cuts. Also saw fox, hawks, offensive feral cats and rats. Lake Merced being on a bird flyway one saw more than a gazzilion different birds but alas the feral cats are doing a number on many of the species there.
