The Pine Lake Meat market was bought by my dad in the early 70's. Thats when the next door was a Liquior Store. The place on the corner had so many different restaurants changing often. I lived on 35th and Vicente and biked up the hills to my dads store to get salami. Those were great times and all the business owners knew each other. My dad sold pine Lake Meat Market in 1989 and retired. Now I Have to go to those Supermarkets who nobody knows you. Kinda sad the Neighborhood shops are all about yone.
