I first had the privilege of attending mass at St. Monica’s Catholic Church in 1982. I was raised Catholic, growing up in St. Louis, MO and attending school and Sunday Mass at Our Lady of Good Counsel.

I transferred to California in 1982, living and working in the Fairfield area. I could never connect with any of the parishes in the area; one Sunday I happened upon St. Monica’s’. I can honestly say that my life has been enriched and changed since attending my first service in this great church.

In 1987 I moved back to St. Louis, but I have had the pleasure of visiting San Francisco and St. Monica’s several times since my move. For some reason I am drawn to St. Monica’s every time I am in the San Francisco area.

My wish – to visit St. Monica’s again in the near future.

Thank you St. Monica!
