Ann: Thanks for posting your stories. Like stepping into a time machine 70 years later myself and others can read these and they are almost exactly the same experiences we all shared though we didn’t know each other back in the day. Walking back and forth for lunch from your home to your neighborhood school is only a distant memory today. My most vivid memory is duck and cover drills in the wooden bungalows. This is what makes this message board so much fun. Thanks again for your wonderful memories.
