Re: A Hundred Years Ago & Right Now

I have to say the Buffalo nickel was my favorite of all the U.S. minted coins. Somehow while growing up I developed a fascination with the old West and Cowboys and Indians. Maybe it was the radio - I could not ever miss an episode of "The Lone Ranger" every Wednesday night at 8:00 O'Clock. Yes, this was long before Television - but even TV came through with some fun Western shows.

I did come to respect the Indians. I'd recommend the book, "Black Elk Speaks", if you can find it. It's a moving look into the mind of a very wise man.
