I was there. I too had an afternoon job downtown so wasn't on campus all the time. A math class I was enrolled in had to be held off campus at the home of an older student who lived in nearby St. Francis Woods. The weather was very rainy and we had to leave all umbrellas and boots on the front porch. The house was wall to wall white carpeting. Everyone was very nervous about the campus unrest. There was a makeshift black board with chalk. We went through the motions of having a class. Everyone's mind was on the fact that campus had to be closed. I passed the class somehow but didn't learn what was intended. It was a time period no one who was there will ever forget. I graduated in January 1969.
