Thanks Frank, for the update on Tom Kennedy! (And, hello' good to "see" you!)

Here's a bit more about Bob Portman...
Several years ago, I found 2002 write-up in the S.F. Holy Family Day Home web page. Bob Portman was a member of their Board:
"Bob, a native San Franciscan, attended Saint Ignatius then went on to play basketball at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, and the Golden State Warriors. Bob and his wife, Pat, have four children and two grandchildren. Bob is no stranger to the Day Home. In fact, his father, Frank Portman, attended the Day Home from 1915. Frank Portman has been a long-time supporter and dear friend of the Day Home and Bob continues that tradition. Bob is Manager of the Frank Portman Company (Burlingame), which his father began in 1947, and lends his expertise with building maintenance and construction issues. For many years, the Portmans have helped us with building projects, most notably the construction of the 1984 building and recently when our business office moved into a portable building at the Dolores Street site. Bob is currently assisting in our playground renovation project."

A bit more research reveals that Bob's Dad passed away in 2004, and Bob is now President of his late father's company.
He also has a page in Wikipedia!!
