The San Francisco History Association is honoring 4 individuals at its 16th Annual Awards Dinner, one of whom is our own John Martini! For info on the event, to be held on Saturday, July 12th, contact the Association at 415-750-9986.
John's recent book, Sutro's Glass Palace, is thoroughly researched and a fascinating read. In addition to historic photos of the interior and the exterior, there are also computer-generated images that show the reader clearly what the adjacencies were among the various long-gone components of the grand old place. It's a must-read and available through WNP by clicking the SHOP tab above.
