Cliff House Bridge in the 1880s

I was told today by an old timer that he thinks when he was younger that he heard a story about a legal case in around the 1880s where a bridge at the Cliff House collapsed and people were badly hurt and a law suit was filed against Sutro.

I was curious if there might have been any photos of that bridge around anywhere. I think it might have been suspended in the same place as the old tram. If those people really fell from that height then they were lucky they weren't killed.
