A very nice photo stream indeed. I concur with you Frank about the Forest Hill Station photo being one of my favorites too (it was taken a little over 2 weeks before I was born). How CLEAN it looked back then!
I do have to admit to a couple other favorites though. The one of the "L" Taraval exiting the West Portal tunnel (1951?) showing the destination simply as "BEACH" was one. I think it changed sometime later to "SF Zoo" if I remember correctly. The other was showing the lighting crew working at 14th & Quintara looking west (or a little bit south-west) in 1948 I believe. Lincoln High School stands out as an iconic image in this view and what else can I say...I AM all about Quintara St even though my parents hadn't yet purchased our house on 28th Ave (that comes about 4 years later). I still love the view. :D
