Welcome, Yosh!
Did you know Ann Curtis? Or are you commenting about someone else?
I am very happy that you were able to visit Our City. (We think we are the very best City in the entire world, also the solar system, and maybe even farther out in the universe. Of course, you must believe the same about Your City In Japan.) Will you tell us about Your City?
I know it is difficult to communicate in a language that is not at all close to Japanese, especially after so many years, but I am both impressed and honored that you made such an effort. Thank you.
Thank you also, for your comments. Your condolences are appreciated by everyone here. (I realize it may seem presumptuous of me, but I know the regulars here do care about, and appreciate, deep concerns by everyone who comments on our many subjects.)
I hope you will continue to write whatever you choose here. Your comments are certainly welcome. If you can, please tell us more about the time you lived here, and attended Cabrillo School, we would be interested in your story. Were you an exchange student? Were you here because your family was relocated for work? (I often wonder what happened to a student from Indonesia whose father worked in San Francisco for the Indonesian government in the 1950s for several years.) Please tell us about yourself, if you feel comfortable.
Many of us do not know personally know each other. (I was shocked a few years ago to discover one of my Lowell classmates was a regular writter here.) However, we soon feel as if we have been friends forever. There is an informality (not correctness) here, which does not require correct grammar, spelling, or editing. (If you don't think so, just read some of my miserable writtings, with missed proofreading corrections.)
Thank you for writting, Yosh! All of us sincerely look forward to reading more from you very soon.
