I don't think you mis-spoke Mary Ann. The SFGate article from July 9th stated that the Presidio Social Club is adding "foie gras sliders" onto it's menu to keep with their American quisine theme and that by offering the classic French delicacy, it would boost their sales significantly given the new ban allowing to become the "only game in town" able to serve foie gras due to their National Park status and not having to follow the State of California law. It goes on to mention that Indian Gaming Casinos would also be exemted from the ban as well due to their locations on federal reservation land, but doesn't mention if they plan to serve foie gras...yet.
Obviously this will probably become another long and drawn out legal battle.
