Paul,
After reading your post on that 2006 message thread with your mention of the athletic supporter/peanut shell and rubber band statement, I have to assume we are talking about the very same Mr Cassilagio. I got the exact same speech from him when I started at Giannini as a 7th grade "scrub" in 1967.
