I had a very good view of the eclipse from the Portland, OR area. There was a very heavy overcast at the time, however,so one could look directly at it without any fear of eyesight problems. The overcast came and went several times during the period, so I saw it and lost it several times. The best I saw was about 50 percent coverage.
Wonder if our comrade Jo Anne Q had a good view of it as she also is in Oregon?
