I first met Will back in the '70s, when my sister was a member of the Lamplighters, and got reacquainted with him through this site. I saw him in quite a few Lamplighters productions, and he had a wonderful voice. I hadn't known he also had a love of history until I put two and two together from his posts here. The last time I saw him was at a WNP meetup a few years ago, when he told me the story of how he met my sister back in the '60s when they both attended City College. I think they were in a theater production together. Of course the story was filled with lots of humor. He was a nice man and I'll miss reading his posts here.
