To get back to the Sunset Auto Company for a minute. I came across a few lines in the 1971 book "Encyclopedia of American Automobiles Edited by G.N. Georgano"
Page 193 says
"Sunset 1901 - 1904
Sunset Automobile Co. San Francisco, Calif.
The Sunset steamer, although made on the West Coast, was very similar to its many contemporaries from New England. It had a vertical 2-cylinder engine, chain drive and tiler steering. Price was $900"
