SNACK: Students Need Culture, Athletics and Kicks, March 23, 1975. Peter Hartlaub, one of the few shining lights still at the Chron, recently presented a collection of photos and columns from the Chron morgue pertaining to this event:

I seem to recall that tix were $5, not $2 as reported. Or maybe that was what I paid for my SNACK t-shirt. Sadly, we're still fighting the same fight.
