I think my friend Tim O'Leary played for the Powergliders. I was on the St. Gabriel team in 1952. We didn't have much gear. Most of it was torn jerseys and damaged pads picked out of the Lincoln High trash. Still, we had fun running out of the single wing. We played Holy Names in the Polo Grounds and lost. I think the score was 18-6. They had new equipment.I was told they played against the Powergliders.
