I was born after the Pearl Harbor Attack, but my family history includes my dear Uncle Ryan who was stationed at Pearl Harbor on the day of the attack. I was always grateful that my Uncle Ryan who was career navy survived the attack so that I could know him. he told a story of the day of having been on shore and getting back to his ship and having a part in getting it running and out of the harbor.
