I'm glad I found this message string.As a native San Franciscan,I can finally say that the Giants have actually won a World Series title since their arrival in San Francisco
in 1958. My father took me to many games at Seals Stadium in
1958 and 1959, and we went to their opening game at Candlestick
Park in 1960. I drove my mother nuts always talking about Willie Mays and the Giants. I now live in Central Ohio and I am still a rabid Giants fan. My wife who is from Ohio cannot
understand why I screamed at the television in 2002 when they
blew it in game 6, when they were within 6 outs of winning their first Series title since moving to SF. Last night I also
screamed at the TV but this time for joy when Edgar Renteria hit his
3 run Home Run, and when Brian "The Beard" Wilson closed out the Rangers in the 8th & 9th innings.I saw a sign at last nights game "End the Torture". The 2010 version of the Giants
have certainly ended my torture No one here in Central Ohio
cares that the Giants won so thanks to the WNP for this message board!
