There was a diving bell at the "Gayway" amusement center at the 1939-40 World's Fair at TI. I think the one at Playland was one and the same, having been moved there after the fair closed. (I agree about the murky water and phony, lifeless water creatures.) I remember the strong centrifugal force on the Racing Derby Ride. I seem to remember four colored lights, like traffic signals, that displayed which of the 4 tracks was leading at the time. (At least I think that's what they were for, any comments?)
