TO Joanne Q regarding the "metal clamp thingy", it is actually a MEAT grinder!...but, in our family, it has been used since I was young as the "cranberry-orange-relish" making machine!...The meat grinder belonged to my Grandmother, supposedly, and I still have it--complete with "all the various wheels"!...It is such a part of Thanksgiving that my older daughter bought ANOTHER one at a yard sale a few years ago so she could use it when she goes to her friends house for Thanksgiving!...and thus "freeing up" the original for her younger sister, so there will be "no fighting" over it when we all pass on to that great place in the sky!.....My City memories of Thanksgiving are the football game at Kezar, and the parade on the tube. Thanksgiving is all about memories--or making them!...Happy Day to all!...
