Interesting what Sitton said. I remember a Thanksgiving far away from home in Hawaii. It was 1980 and I had just departed for a deployment with the USN. My wife and son invited a lot of the single sailors to a Thanksgiving at our quarters which were very large. Victoria sent me pictures and it made my day. I was on the alert that day and had a sumptuous feast at the galley at NAS Cubi Point in the Phlipines. Fortunautly we did not launch on a flight as we were all quite full and I think our flight gear may have been a little snug.

In regard to Patrick. Yes turkeys are reasonable and easy to cook. I always keep a couple in the freezer which I purchase when they come on sale. I think that we do not have them often as their is a stigma that they are somthing special to be served on either tanksgiving or Christmas.
