Thanks to everyone who replied. I also asked a groundskeeper, who confirmed what Patrick said.

The reason I asked in the first place: I'm rewriting something -- a piece of fiction set in the city -- that I wrote the first draft of a few years ago. I've been revisiting the spots to refresh my memory, and I couldn't find the grove. Now I have to decide whether to axe the description, or set the story in 2002. Things change fast in a city like this.

Thanks again for the help! This site is a great resource. Maybe I'll check back with you guys if I have other questions.
