I grew up in the Sunset from 1968-on and well remember
South Pacific! What a great place. We went there often in the 80's and I usually ordered the tasty Mahi Mahi with the
Polynesian sauce. Bill Lee was a nice guy and made the rounds as host. There was a huge outrigger canoe hanging from the ceiling over one large table..aquariums and great
Tiki decor. Very sad when they closed. In the book Tiki Road Trip, the author didn't mention South Pacific...I plan to email him some info for the book. Thanks for sharing your memeories!
