Since we lived in back of the Olympic Club, it was manifest desitny to become a caddy. I started at 11 but alas, I never had the eye or shoulders to make it a career path. Tossing the afternoon News-Call Bulletin was more my speed and I got down to a 4 handicap on rocking the milk bottles. Perhaps it was the search for redemption that drew me into law enforcement and I became a deputy sherrif at Fun-Tier Town until I graduated to cleaning floors, cooking burgers, scooping ice cream, washing dishes and even laid carpet before going to the Univerity of Ft. Ord for boot campin 1969...the rest is history.
